Petri’s year 2011
I’ll cut it short this time.
JANUARY-APRIL
It all went like in a haze because of the elections. Campaign, campaign, campaign. It all was a somewhat donquijotish operation, but yet something to be proud of. I worked like a caravan and let the dogs bark.
MAY
One week break in Stockholm was really needed for some perspective. A month of transition.
JUNE-AUGUST
Packing and organizing, beautiful and busy summer. Learned a little bit of some new stuff: video and sound editing for TV and being a camera man in a live opera filming.
SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER
¡Argentina! The right place to be.

I managed to read my first short novel in Spanish: História de mis putas tristes by Gabriel García Márquez. Currently learning all the bad words and insults of Argentinian Spanish from a dictionary titled El puto que lee.
Best song
The Hungarian Eurovision entry What about my dreams? (Szerelem, miért múlsz)
Best album
Thanks to Spotify subscription I actually listened albums, but can’t really name one favourite.
Best radio
I listened mostly ESCradio, Radio Italia and Spotify. YLE podcasts are great to listen when washing dishes or vacuuming.
Best film
Actually saw a new one in a theatre: Pernilla August’s Svinalängorna in Buenos Aires!
Best TV show
Same as last year The Good Wife, Amazing race and surprisingly Diili, the Finnish version of Apprentice.
Best live show
Franco Luciani with special guests in Los 36 Billares.
Worst moments
Reading and listening Finnish news media.
Best moments
Learning new things. Performing and making music. Being on the saddle. Yoga. All the moments spent with my loved ones.
Worst enemies
Dishonest and mean people.
Best friends
My wife and our animal companions.
Best newcomers in my life
Some new real life friends in Finland and Argentina.

Too many… Llama and Andean lamb in Jujuy, the lunches at bodegas in Mendoza, all that sushi and ceviche and some home cooking, too!

Alcohol. Pisco sours in Mendoza and all that Argentinian wine…
